Follow @devangsharma7                                 homemade  Gajar ka halwa, also known as gajorer halua and Gajrela, is a carrot-based sweet dessert pudding from the Indian subcontinent. It is made by placing grated carrots in a pot containing a specific amount of water, milk and sugar  Ingredients 500 gm  Carrots 500 ml  Full Fat Milk 5-6 tbsp  Sugar 3 tbsp  Ghee 10-12  Cashews 1/2 tsp  Cardamom powder                          Steps                         In a non stick pan take the milk and boil it. Meanwhile peel and grate the carrots. Break/cut the cashews into big pieces and keep it aside. Once the milk is boiled add the grated carrots in the milk and boil the mixture. Once the mixture comes to boil turn down the flame to slow and let it simmer until the milk has almost reduced from the mixture (keep stirring in between).
